Alexandria Hough
As a dedicated SEND practitioner and parent of a neurodiverse teen, I bring a comprehensive perspective to supporting SEND learners. My career has been shaped by a commitment to inclusive education and adaptive teaching.
Currently, I lead a transformative project across secondary schools in Birmingham, empowering SENCOs and school leaders to prioritize SEND in all aspects of education. My role involves conducting whole school SEND reviews, coaching staff, and modelling adaptive teaching practices.
In addition, I collaborate with SEND Station as a learning partner, delivering international training on adaptive teaching for secondary education. My passion lies in ensuring that SEND learners feel happy, safe, and challenged, receiving an equitable and accessible education.
