Jo is a teacher by trade with 25 years' experience in classrooms, school leadership and local authority advisory roles. With particular expertise in inclusive mainstream education, Jo has worked with school leadership teams, classroom practitioners and local authorities to develop inclusive provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.  

 Jo’s work with the National Development Team for Inclusion involves working with schools, local authorities and other organisations to ensure that all teams feel confident and competent to provide high quality, rich and inspiring inclusive provision for children and young people with SEND.
